During winter break, the Reflection Room housed in CAPPA South B was permanently closed due to demolition and construction activity, according to a MavWire newsletter.

Don Lange, assistant vice president of the Office of Facilities Management, said in an email that the building in which the reflection room was previously located was over 22 years old and in need of repairs.

The reflection room will be temporarily housed in Swift Center Room 125.

The reflection room is a “quiet room where faculty, staff, and students can pray and take a mental break,” Lange said.

A permanent location has not been decided upon, but the Office of Facilities Management is working to find and prepare a location that best serves the community on campus.
