Mass. — The Boston 25 weather team is tracking snow for Sunday and the possible effects it may have on the Patriots game.
Boston 25 Meteorologist Vicki Graf says light snow will start the day off, but for the Patriots’ game, we’re going to see that snow start to fill in a little bit more. It really ramps up as fans start to head home from the game.
“I can’t rule out a flurry if you’re planning to tailgate, by kickoff we’ll start to see that snow falling,” she said.
Overnight, the snow will continue, and we’ll see quite a bit of snow on the ground when we wake up on Monday morning.

You'll need to get out and shovel snow Monday morning! <a href=“https://t.co/NEUZjJPdRJ”>pic.twitter.com/NEUZjJPdRJ</a></p>— Vicki Graf (@VickiGrafWX) <a href=“https://twitter.com/VickiGrafWX/status/2012879217784955318?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>January 18, 2026</a></blockquote> <script async src=“https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=“utf-8″></script>
If you do have to be out on the roads early, you’ll need to shovel some of that snow and remove it from your car.
Widespread 3-6″ especially throughout eastern Massachusetts, not so much for the Cape and Islands.
“But I can’t rule out a couple of spots that might see up to 7″ of snow, and this is through Monday morning,” said Vicki.
