WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The NASCAR Cup Series will return to Bowman Gray Stadium as the Clash exhibition race will be held there in 2026.

Bowman Gray Stadium will get to host back-to-back NASCAR Cup Series races for the first time since the 1970s. In 2025, the series returned to the track for the first time since 1971 with the Cook Out Clash. Chase Elliott won, ahead of Ryan Blaney.

Rumors swirled about the race moving overseas, possibly overseas. However, NASCAR quelled the rumors shortly after the Clash. Fans also turned out in droves, boosting the event further.

The 2026 Clash is set for Feb. 1 at Bowman Gray Stadium.
