Sophie Turner’s sex education was a little different than the average person’s.

The “Do Revenge” actor opened up about her unique schooling on the subject on a recent episode of the hit U.K. “Dish” podcast, released on Wednesday.

Co-host Nick Grimshaw asked Turner about her time on the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” and the 29-year-old revealed just how much she learned from the show.

“I did love making it. It was it, it was like, it was the best acting class I’ve ever had,” she said. ”’Cause I never had like proper, formal training, so I got to learn from the amazing actors around me, which was like, I felt like I’d won ― you know ― a competition or something.”

“But it was great,” Turner said, adding that the cast “were a family” that “kind of merged into one person by the end of it.”

Despite learning so much on set, Turner said that she's actually never watched the series. Despite learning so much on set, Turner said that she’s actually never watched the series.

“But it was amazing. It informed my entire life in terms of like business decisions, just etiquette on set, how to act, um, everything! Everything I learned from ‘Game of Thrones,’” she said, jokingly adding, “And a bit from my parents.”

She added that she got to do “really crazy shit” on the series, which lasted for eight seasons.

“I definitely got my sex education from that show,” she quipped. “More than enough.”

Despite learning so much on set, Turner said that she’s actually never watched the series.

“It’s horrible watching yourself,” she told the hosts, who asked if she’d ever had to sit down and see herself on screen.

“I mean, I’ve been forced to endure like premieres and whatnot,” Turner said. “But I mean, it’s just awful. I leave going into like a two-month bout of depression after I watch myself, so I just don’t do it.”

Turner has opened up about her time on the hit series before and spoken about how she dealt with some of the more traumatic scenes and storylines her character faced.

“Growing up on a show like ‘Game of Thrones,’ the subject matter was so heavy that I just developed a coping mechanism of just having the most fun in between takes, so I wouldn’t get traumatized,” the actor told Jessica Chastain in an article for The Cut, published in 2022.

“I’m sure I’ll exhibit some symptoms of trauma down the road,” she added, though luckily she said she filmed when she was young, so she couldn’t “comprehend a lot of the scene matter.”
