JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The city of Jacksonville will launch its “State of Food” initiative on Tuesday.
The program involves a citywide planning process that would focus on strengthening and supporting Jacksonville’s local food system.
According to the city, it would help guide how food is grown, processed, distributed, accessed, consumed and recovered.
The event begins at 4 p.m. News4JAX will stream it live.
