FORT WORTH – Eleesa Elaine Burrow (Elliott), 69, passed away on January 15, 2026. The funeral service honoring Eleesa will be held January 27, 2026, at 12 pm at Mount Olivet Chapel. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate a life well lived. A visitation will be held the evening prior on January 26, from 6-8 pm at Mount Olivet Chapel. Born on October 16, 1956, in Japan (US Army Hospital), Eleesa was the child of Cathyleen and Earl Elliott. Throughout her life, she built a legacy defined by her faith, strength, and the love she shared with family and friends. Eleesa, like her father, served in the U.S Army. Eleesa was known for her warmth, resilience, and the deep connections she fostered with those around her. She was very deep rooted in her faith, which not only helped in her own fight but also led to her starting a Cancer Ministry – “Beyond the Storm” as a survivor of Breast Cancer. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many. Eleesa was preceded in death by her brother, John (late wife Judy), and her parents Cathyleen and Earl Elliott. She is survived by her husband, JW Burrow; daughters, Denise Rodriquez (Rene), Samantha Sweeney (Terrance), and Emily Wilhite (DeMont); grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Jeremy Rodriquez, Catherine Rodriquez, Sasha Wilhite, Kadin Mattingly, and Terrance “TJ” Sweeney II; great-grandchild, Rakai Smith; brothers, Earl (Stevie), Bill (late wife Jeanne), Jack (Debbie), Howard (late wife Norma), and Jim (Renee); and her sister, Pat (Kennedy); along with a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the love and support received during this difficult time.
