Phoenix, OREGON – Downtown Phoenix is gearing up for FERMENTOPIA, a popular food festival, returns for its third edition.
FERMENTOPIA runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7 per day, and children 12 and under can attend for free.
“This is our opportunity to get them discover those tangy umami flavors that have been with humans for centuries and are very beneficial to our microbiome, to our gut health and overall wellbeing,” said organizer Karolina Lavagnino.
This vibrant event will transform the area into a walkable block party celebrating fermented foods and local makers.
More than 35 vendors from across Oregon and Northern California are set to fill the Phoenix Plaza Civic Center, Oregon Cheese Cave, and Moxie Brew Tap House.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of offerings, from kimchi and miso to craft beverages and sourdough.

The festival aims to introduce people to fermented foods they might already enjoy without realizing it, while supporting small producers in building long-term community connections.
