The Dolphins found their new offensive coordinator from inside their coaching ranks.

Miami is expected to promote senior passing game coordinator Bobby Slowik to be its next offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Saturday afternoon.

Slowik, 38, joined the Dolphins in the 2025 offseason after he served the previous two seasons as the Houston Texans offensive coordinator.

During his time as the OC in Houston, Slowik helped Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud to a stellar rookie season in 2023, leading to a AFC South division title, a Divisional Round appearance and an Offensive Rookie of the Year award for Stroud. When he was a play-caller, Slowik commanded a top-12 offense and the seventh-ranked passing offense in 2023.
