There is a sign of progress in the nurses’ strike in New York City – now in its 14th day.
The nurses’ union says they have reached a deal on maintaining health benefits at two hospitals – this was a key sticking point.
The New York State Nurses Association says Mount Sinai and New York Presbyterian have agreed to keep the nurses’ current health plan.
Still, the hospitals and nurses must reach final tentative contract agreements.

Due to the Winter Storm Warning, nurses were not on the picket lines on Sunday and will not be on Monday, but they say they will be back out there Tuesday if there is no final deal by then.
