On Thursday, June 12, the Rancho Santa Fe home of longtime Scripps Health supporters Bill and Janie Rohn was transformed into a tropical paradise for the Scripps Spinoff Luau. The event raised $525,000 to support the oncology nutrition program at Scripps Cancer Center, according to a news release.

More than 140 Scripps supporters enjoyed vibrant Polynesian-themed entertainment and cuisine and heard personal stories about the key role that nutrition plays for cancer patients during treatment and recovery. Scripps Cancer Center’s oncology nutrition program ensures patients receive personalized nutritional guidance to boost their strength and resilience during cancer therapy and beyond.
