Beginning in early May, United Airlines is starting daily service to and from the La Crosse Regional Airport.
La Crosse Regional Airport Business Manager JD Roberts, Airport Director Lauren Koss, and Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey announce that United Airlines is starting service in La Crosse in May.
The service is scheduled to begin May 7, with four nonstop flights per day to Chicago.
According to a news release, the flights will be operated by United Express. The aircraft used are a mix of CRJ-200 and CRJ-500, which can hold up to 50 passengers depending on its configuration according to online information.
Booking for the flights begins on Thursday, January 29.

We appreciate United’s confidence in our market as we work together to better serve travelers across the region.” said Lauren Koss, Airport Director for La Crosse Regional Airport.
The announcement comes after word in November that Allegiant Air is starting flights out of La Crosse on February 6. Allegiant offers nonstop flights to Mesa, Arizona and Sanford, Florida.
