20 Really Good People

For Aubrey Edge, leadership has always meant giving back.

In his role as president and CEO of First Coast Energy, Edge remains grounded in the belief that business should be a force for good. That conviction has fueled Daily’s growth into a $1.5 billion retail powerhouse, and a legacy of impact across Florida.

Through the Daily’s Foundation, Edge has invested millions in causes that truly matter, with a focus on improving the health and well-being of families.

In 2020, Edge made history with a $5 million gift to Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville – the largest single donation in the specialty clinic’s history – creating the Daily’s Foundation Pavilion. This state-of-the-art facility enhances pediatric oncology and blood disorder care for patients and families in the region.

“This [support] reinforces our commitment to children and families in Jacksonville, and to furthering the amazing work of Nemours Children’s Health,” said Edge at the Pavillion dedication. “Our hope is that this partnership will bring comfort and well-being for children in need of advanced care and added resources to the outstanding clinicians and programs at Nemours Children’s.”

Building on that milestone, Edge recently championed a $5.2 million contribution from the Daily’s Foundation to fund a cutting-edge conference center at Nemours Children’s Jacksonville clinic, creating a collaborative hub for healthcare professionals and community partners to develop approaches to improve the lives
of children and families in Northeast Florida and beyond.

Edge believes that business can and should make a difference and, under his leadership, First Coast Energy has become a model for how prosperity and responsibility go hand in hand. His vision builds more than a brand; it builds hope, health and opportunity for children and families across Florida.
