Jimmy Kimmel turned Donald Trump’s own words against him on Wednesday night after the president insulted Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who was attacked at a town hall event.
Omar was speaking in Minneapolis when a man sprayed her with what at the time was an unknown substance, later identified as apple cider vinegar.
Rather than denounce the assault, Trump verbally attacked Omar.
“I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that,” Trump said. “She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”
“Not only is that just a ridiculous thing to say, it also sets him up for maybe the easiest joke of all time,” Kimmel said. “She had herself sprayed ― who’s doing this to you?”
With that, Kimmel showed a picture of the president’s heavily bronzed face:
