JACKSONVILLE, Texas — With the amount of damage reported during this week’s winter storm, the City of Jacksonville is offering tree and limb pick-up for residents.
The offer is available for Jacksonville residential utility customers. The offer is for $20 pick-up (down from the typical rate of $35). The cost is added to residents’ utility bill at the end of the month.
The deal applies only to vegetation. Participating residents are asked to place their fallen limbs and trunks organized at their curb. Debris over 6 inches in length and 14 inches in diameter may be subject to special estimate above the discount price.
