Ex-Mayor Eric Adams is feeling snarky.

Adams took to social media Thursday to take a shot at lefty Mayor Zohran Mamdani, slamming the democratic socialist for pointing fingers rather than dealing with a gaping $12 billion budget hole.

“When you promise ‘free’ everything on Sunday, boldly declare that millionaires and billionaires shouldn’t exist on Monday, and by Tuesday you’re scrambling to fund your giveaways with the very people you wanted gone just yesterday,” the former mayor said on X.

Mamdani offered few details on how he plans to close the massive gap in the Big Apple budget during an address at City Hall’s Blue Room on Wednesday — basically blaming Adams for the gap.

“This is not just bad governance, it is negligence,” he told reporters. “We are encouraged by the relationship we are building not only with Gov. Hochul but other legislators in Albany.”

Critics complain that making the rounds in Albany is all-too-often the fix for Big Apple financial woes.

When pressed, Mamdani cited Adams’ failed artificial intelligence chatbot — which cost about $500,000, or about 0.004% of the budget gap he’s now facing.

Adams’ salvo on X came with a clip of a confused-looking Dr. Steve Brule — the goofy and socially awkward character created by Oscar-nominated actor John C. Reilly.

Officials at City Hall did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
