PHOENIX, Ariz. (WLOX) – Entering his 11th year in the NBA, Moss Point alum and Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is extending his tenure in Arizona.

Booker and the Suns have agreed to a 2-year, $145 million max contract extension, which runs through the 2029-30 season, granting the star the highest annual extension salary in the history of the NBA.

Booker is the all-time leading scorer in the Suns’ franchise history. He averaged 25.6 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists through 75 games in the 2024-25 season.

The Suns look to rebound after a disappointing season, missing the play-in tournament for the first time since 2020 after losing 9 of their last 10 games and finishing with a record of 36-46.
