Former Scottsdale Prosecutor Shawn Fuller’s wrongful termination and defamation lawsuit against the city could be headed to the Arizona Supreme Court.
After a Maricopa County Superior Court jury ruled in Fuller’s favor and awarded him $5.25 million in May 2024, the city appealed the ruling a month later to the Arizona Court of Appeals.
On Jan. 15, that ruling came back partially in favor of both sides.
