PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A deadly multi-vehicle crash shut down the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia’s Hunting Park neighborhood on Friday morning.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. near the Broad Street exit.
The Boulevard remains closed in both directions between Broad Street and 9th Street.
Police say there were at least five cars involved.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person is in extremely critical condition.
Two other people were also reported injured. Their conditions are unknown.
Drivers should consider alternate routes and allow for extra time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
