HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A Harris County man who was arrested for stabbing and killing his wife in 2024 has been sentenced, according to court documents.

Records show that a judge sentenced Charles Murray Wilson to 40 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

The documents also show that Wilson pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.

ABC13 previously reported that a man was arrested for stabbing his wife to death in the Kleinbrook neighborhood in north Harris County on Nov. 8, 2024.

At the time, neighbors told ABC13 that they had heard arguments coming from the couple’s home in the past.
