SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a driver involved in an early morning hit-and-run crash along IH-37 South that injured one person.

The crash happened around 3:40 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of IH-37 South northbound main lanes.

Police said a driver was traveling in the southbound lanes when a suspect in a Dodge Ram truck that was going in the same direction struck their vehicle.

The suspect then drove off and hit a parked vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The 43-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said the truck driver will be charged with Collision Involving Injury & Collision Involving Damage to vehicle when found.

No other injuries were reported.
