In a UNF Student Government budget hearing, the Office of Student Life revealed that an OzFest artist has not officially signed for the festival, despite the event date announcement.
On Jan. 30, the Office of Student Life explained the status of the OzFest headliner when speaking to senators about the event.
“I can tell you the artist when contracts are signed,” said the Office of Student Life representative. “They’re not signed.”
This news comes two weeks after the Office of Student Life announced that tickets for OzFest, which will take place on March 6, are available to claim.
While the Office of Student Life has not announced the artist for OzFest 2025, the university has historically sourced its performers for OzFest through United Talent Agency.
In last year’s OzFest, headliner Lil Yachty signed to perform for the university festival in December 2024, two months before the event.
For the 2024 OzFest, Flo Milli signed for the event in January of 2024, but contract negotiations began as early as August.
The Office of Student Life has promised “major artists” and the event will have the Student Battle of the Bands winner opening the show, according to the UNF Events website.
