OBITUARY
John Richard Asmus, III, 49, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2026, from a heart attack. He was born on May 1, 1976.
John attended grade school and middle school in Solana Beach, California and graduated from Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, California. He went on to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
John worked for Component Control for 15 years, most recently as a Senior Software Support Engineer.
John is survived by his loving wife, Brogade; their daughter, Brea; his parents, John and Linda Asmus; and his sister, Lisa Wise, her husband Frank, and their children.
John lived a life filled with love, commitment to his family, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
