The woman who died after being shot while inside her Fort Worth home Friday night has been identified, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Magdalene Mancho, 66, died of a gunshot wound to the neck around 10:18 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

Fort Worth police responded to reports of a medical call at a home in the 3400 block of Tahiti Lane, according to a previous statement.

It was reported that a woman, determined to be Mancho, had fallen inside the home. She was transported to the hospital, and medical staff determined she had been shot.

Investigators determined that a bullet entered the home from outside her home and struck Mancho while she was inside.

There was a shots-fired call in the area an hour prior to the medical call, the statement said. No suspects have been arrested.
