FORT WORTH – William Earl “Bill” Watkins III, 85, passed away January 27th, 2026. Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 in the Breyley Room at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Bill was born in St. Louis, MO on Dec. 1, 1940 to William Earl Watkins Jr. and Marion Lee Brock. Later in life, he moved to Texas with his mother and father, living in the poly area where he attended school and graduated from Poly High. This is where he met his wife, Paula Cozart. Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Paula Watkins; and son, Paul Watkins. He is survived by his sons, Dean Watkins and wife, Donna, and Richard Watkins as well as his 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
