Detectives in the Bronx are looking for the suspect who brutally slashed a man following a dispute on Sunday morning.
Police said the attack happened in front of an apartment building at 385 East 144th St. in Mott Haven at about 10:18 a.m. on Feb. 1.
According to law enforcement sources, the victim, a 35-year-old man, became embroiled in a verbal dispute with the suspect. The reason for the argument was not immediately disclosed.
Cops said the beef turned bloody when the perpetrator pulled out a sharp instrument and repeatedly slashed the victim about the body, leaving him wounded multiple times.
Following the assault, police reported, the suspect fled the scene on foot northbound along 3rd Avenue.
The incident was reported to the 40th Precinct. EMS rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police described the suspect as a man who was last seen wearing a black hat, a black ski mask, a green jacket, blue jeans and dark-colored sneakers.
