Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Monday that a grand jury indicted Joanna Cortez, 29, on a charge of aggravated assault against children, among other related charges.
Joanna Chalup Cortez (right) turned herself in on Wednesday. Police said they are not searching for additional suspects.

The shooting happened Jan. 6 at the Somo Lofts near 32nd Street and Broadway Road after Cortez and her boyfriend reportedly broke up, and she went to his home, threatening to “shoot up the house.”
Home security video showed the woman yelling outside the home with a rifle in hand before firing it toward the home. The bullet hit a child, identified by the family as 4-year-old Qahsiem Sinclair, through the open door in the face.
While Qahsiem is on a long road to recovery, the family says he is expected to survive his injury.
Cortez turned herself in the day after the shooting and was booked into jail. Her bond was set at $500,000.
She will face a judge in the summer, with trial set to begin on May 20.
