Rain will move into North Texas Tuesday, but much of the region will likely miss it.

The chance for scattered rain showers is higher east of Interstate 35, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office, with higher rain chances into East Texas. The eastern portions of Dallas and Collin counties have a 20% chance of showers.

At DFW International Airport, conditions are expected to be mostly sunny, with decreasing cloud cover throughout the day. The high is forecast to top out around 64 degrees before a weak cold front moves in.

The cold front will drop overnight lows into the 30s on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, before warmer temperatures return. In between, the temperature should still be warmer than in recent weeks, with a high on Wednesday of 56.
