For more than 200 years, Canada and the United States have had a fruitful and peaceful relationship. Now, with the Trump administration’s aggressive trade strategy, the relationship has become tense.

This week, the consul general of Canada in New York, Tom Clark, is in Albany to meet with political and economic leaders to strengthen the relationship that Canada has with the Empire State.

Clark sat down with Capital Tonight’s host, Susan Arbetter, to discuss tourism, energy and whether the relationship that Canada has with the U.S. can be restored.
