FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (WABC) — Three people were rescued by helicopter after falling through ice in Queens on Friday.
FDNY officials say they received a report around 4:15 p.m. of multiple people in the water at 13-10 Norton Dr. in Far Rockaway.
Authorities say three people walked onto the ice covering Jamaica Bay and fell in. All three victims were rescued by NYPD helicopter, and are conscious and alert.
Citizen App video shows at least one of the victims being lifted off the ice.
FDNY fire and EMS, and the NYPD operating at the scene.
No further details have been provided so far.
