DILLEY, Texas – Murder suspect Orlando “Nando” Rosendo Rodriguez has been apprehended.

According to The City of Dilley Police Department’s Facebook, an anonymous tip early Sunday morning led officers to a local motel off Highway 85 in Dilley, where Rodriguez was apprehended without incident less than 48 hours after the apparent homicide of his alleged 23-year-old victim.

Dilley PD worked alongside Frio County Sheriff’s Deputies in the successful operation.

Rodriguez has been charged with Felony Murder and transported to the Frio County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have not released further details regarding the victim or motive.

The department expressed condolences to the victim’s family and thanked the public for their cooperation.
