Bronny James had a chance to take the lead however, he rattled against the hoop with less than four seconds left.

LeBron James was not there during the LA Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks Summer League game where his son Bronny faced Cooper Flagg. However, the NBA legend’s wife, Savannah, and daughter, Zhuri, went to the court to support junior James. While watching her brother play at the Thomas & Mack Centre in Las Vegas, the 10-year-old wore Adidas Samba trainers. The cultural significance of the shoes attracted attention. This is because, even though Zhuri wore Adidas, her father has a $1 billion lifetime contract with Nike. Meanwhile, the LA Lakers, led by Bronny James, were unable to defeat the Dallas Mavericks. It was a challenging game for James junior. Despite going scoreless in the second half, he scored eight points on as many shots. The Mavs, meanwhile, came back to win by two points. However, the second-year pro didn’t care about winning or losing. He was pleased with his defensive performance. He appeared to be having a fantastic night as he scored five quick points.

As per LA Times, talking about the match, James junior said: “I’m a pretty small guard… So if I get switched down there I have to stand my ground somehow. That’s why I weigh like 215 [pounds] and I got to stand my ground down there and make sure I’m not getting bullied anywhere.” For both young players, this game was crucial, despite the LA Lakers’ defeat.
