VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A suspected DUI crash in Victorville sent four people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies responded at about 12:31 p.m. on February 10, 2026, to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of El Evado Road and La Mesa Road, between Luna and La Mesa Roads.
Preliminary investigation revealed a black Kia Forte was traveling northbound on El Evado Road when it entered the intersection against a red light. The Kia collided with a white Hyundai Palisade that was traveling westbound on La Mesa Road.
Following the initial collision, the Kia continued forward and struck a black Mercedes that was stopped in the southbound lane of El Evado Road. The Hyundai then veered off the roadway and collided with a chain-link fence at a nearby residence.

According to Socorro Cuevas, public information officer for the Victorville Police Department, deputies found tanks of nitrous oxide and open containers of alcohol inside the Kia Forte.
“The collision is being investigated as a possible driving under the influence (DUI) incident,” stated Socorro.

Three occupants of the Kia and the driver of the Hyundai were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released. No other injuries were reported.
The collision remains under investigation by the Victorville Police Department. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
