PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Saturday in Scottsdale for a 72-year-old nonverbal man who has a medical condition that causes him to be easily disoriented, authorities said.
Jon Matich had last been seen on foot around 12:30 p.m. at his Scottsdale home located at 601 N. Hayden Road.
The Scottsdale Police Department said on X at 6:32 p.m. that Matich was “located and is safe.”
Please help Scottsdale Police locate a missing and endangered elderly person in the area of 600 N. Hayden Rd.

He is 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes, according to authorities.
Matich had last been seen wearing a LSW brand black and gray hat, blue shirt and jeans.
