Marcus Rashford to Barcelona transfer talk is hotting up once again as the Catalans look to add a left winger to the squad in time for the 2025-26 season.

Nico Williams has decided to stay at Athletic, while Luis Diaz is too expensive, meaning Rashford is once again on the agenda for Barca.

A new update on the situation has been provided and suggests that Rashford will have to take a drastic pay cut if he is to move.

Rashford is thought to earn around £350,000 a week at Manchester United but would have to slash that by 40% if he is to get his ‘dream’ move to Barcelona.

Any initial transfer would be a loan but potentially with a mandatory purchase option built into the deal.

Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, and the deal did include a £40 million purchase option, but the Villans opted not to take it up.
