Romeo Sanabria is beginning to put his season back together.

The 23-year-old first baseman doubled and collected three hits Friday, leading Double-A San Antonio to a 7-2 win at Wichita.

Sanabria also scored twice in lifting his batting line to .276/.323/.405. He has eight homers in 72 games, three shy of his career high.

Sanabria had an .866 OPS in April and an .883 OPS in May only to fall off a cliff in June (.497 OPS). He is hitting .257/.257/.457 for a .714 OPS in nine games to start July.

Left fielder Albert Fabian (1.206 OPS) drove in two runs on three hits and right fielder Moises Gomez (.730 OPS) went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored.

Right-hander Braden Nett (3.53 ERA) struck out four and allowed a run on four hits and three walks in 3⅓ innings in the start.

San Antonio is 47-38.

RHP Sean Reynolds (7.00 ERA) struck out two and allowed a run on one hit and three walks in two-thirds of an inning. RF Yonathan Perlaza (.854 OPS) went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. DH Luis Campusano (1.042 OPS) went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

TinCaps 8, Quad Cities 6: RF Braedon Karpathios (.776 OPS) drove in three runs on two hits, including his 11th homer. C Brendan Durfee (.659 OPS) drove in three runs and hit his second homer during a two-hit game. LF Kaden Hollow (.868 OPS) hit his first homer. LHP Fernando Sanchez (3-1, 2.37 ERA) turned in two scoreless innings after RHP Isaiah Lowe (5.67 ERA) allowed two runs in five innings in the start.

Storm 6, Visalia 0: LF Ryan Wilson (.702 OPS) went 3-for-4 with his second homer and two RBIs. 3B Zach Evans (.754 OPS) went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. SS Cobb Hightower (.643 OPS) and 1B Kale Fountain (.300 OPS) both went 0-for-5. RHP Johan Moreno (3-4, 5.47 ERA) struck out five over four scoreless innings in relief in the win. RHP Maikel Miralles (5.08 ERA) struck out seven over four shutout innings in the start.

Brewers 13, Padres 12: Jose Sanabria (.931 OPS) drove in three runs on two hits, including a double. CF Kasen Wells (.800 OPS), 2B Luis De Leon (.772 OPS), 1B Kevin Hacen (.552 OPS) and 3B Ismael Javier (.579 OPS) all had two hits.

Royals 9, Padres 4: 1B Dayquer Alfonzo (.591 OPS) went 1-for-2 with two  RBIs and a walk. RHP Kelvin Marte (3.74 ERA) allowed three runs in four innings in the start.

Padres 5, Athletics 0: RHP Raymel Belliard (2-1, 2.45 ERA) struck out 11 over five perfect innings in the start. 2B Eduarlin Tejeda (.810 OPS) went 3-for-5 with two runs scored. RF Fabian Alcantara (.917 OPS) went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
