Penguin Random House/Disney Publishing announced the release of “Hour of the Pumpkin Queen,” the follow-up to the #1 New York Times bestseller “Long Live the Pumpkin Queen,” set in the world of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas film.” The new book launches July 8 everywhere.
Released in 2022, “Long Live the Pumpkin Queen,” the first installment in the Pumpkin Queen series written by Shea Ernshaw, was a success, debuting at #1 on the NYT best seller list and remaining on the list for a total of 37 weeks. Disney tapped Brevard resident Megan Shepherd to continue the Pumpkin Queen series after previously working with her on 2023’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” novelization to coincide with the film’s 30th anniversary.
