Based on the beloved Mattel toy, Barbie Cafe takes visitors into a world of fun where you can be anything you want to be. With a retro-themed diner, classic roller rink, outdoor play area and plenty of photo opportunities, the cafe comes just in time for the annual San Diego Comic-Con.
“Bucket Listers is honored to continue partnering with Mattel, bringing Malibu Barbie Cafe to San Diego after sold-out runs across the country,” said Derek Berry, president of experiences for Bucket Listers, the media experiences brand behind the Barbie Cafe. “Barbie has proven to be one of history’s ultimate icons, it means so much for us to bring exclusive experiences like this to life for our community. Just in time for this year’s Comic Con, we cannot wait for America’s Finest City to see what we have in store.”
The pop-up comes with exclusive merchandise and a variety of signature interactive activities for fans to play in between trips around the rink. Proceeds from each roller skate rental ($1) will be donated back to the Cafe’s charity partner, Girls Inc. Special events, like Cupcake Decorating Classes, Paint Parties, and 21+ Skate Nights, will also be offered.
Hosted at Bayside Kitchen and Bar on Pacific Highway, tickets start at $25 and includes food and merchandise credit. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to bucketlisters.com/experience/malibu-barbie-cafe-san-diego.
