Philadelphia police are investigating three separate overnight shootings in Philadelphia that left two men and one woman injured.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the first shooting happened just before 11 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, in North Philadelphia.
Police said that officers responded to a local hospital after a man drove himself there after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his left arm, right arm and left thigh.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident began inside a convenience store in the 3300 block of North Front Street, according to police. The man had reportedly been involved in a verbal and physical altercation with another unknown man, who was wearing a white shirt.
Police said both individuals left the store after the altercation, but the unknown man then followed the victim down the street while they were in their vehicles and opened fire on the driver’s side door.
The gunshot victim, a 44-year-old man, is in stable condition, police said. No arrests have been made in this incident.
Police shared that the next incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday, also in North Philadelphia.
According to police, officers responded to a local hospital after receiving a report of a 19-year-old woman in critical condition due to a shooting. The woman had sustained gunshot wounds to her chest and stomach.
The investigation quickly led officers to the 2900 block of N. 8th St., police said. Due to concerns that a 19-year-old man, whom police believe is a suspect, might still be inside the residence, a barricade was declared at the home. Police said a SWAT team cleared the house, but no arrests were made.
Police said investigators believe the motive for the shooting was a domestic argument and further information will be released once available.

According to police, the third reported shooting overnight happened in West Philadelphia near a bar around 2:03 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Police said that when officers got to the scene, they found multiple fired cartridge casings on 1700 North 56th St., adjacent to the bar.
A 28-year-old man had been shot in the abdomen and transported to the hospital by a private vehicle and was listed in critical condition, according to police.
Police said no further details regarding this incident are available.
