The La Onda music festival slated to take place in Napa in May has been canceled.Festival organizers Bottlerock announced the cancellation with a message on the Latin music event’s website. The message did not cite a reason for the cancellation but said that ticket buyers could expect a full refund within 30 days.KCRA 3 reached out to the festival organizers for more information. “We remain hopeful that Festival La Onda can return in the future,” La Onda’s website said. “We are incredibly proud of what was built and grateful for the community that supported it.”La Onda’s performers span Latin genres from Mexican regional music, Reggaeton, rock, hip-hop, pop and salsa.This year’s event on May 30 and 31 at Napa Valley Expo was set to feature headliners Maná, Ivan Cornejo, J Balvin and Christian Nodal. Others on the line-up were: Danny Ocean, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Paulo Londra, La Arrolladora, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Grupo Niche, Molotov, Hermanos Espinoza, Orishas, Chiquis, El Malilla, Los Primos del Este, Kinky, Ozomatli, Daniel, Me Estás Matando, Emmanuel Cortes, Pedro Sampaio, Julio Caesar, Arath Herce, eydrey, Frater Cosmic Beats, Delilah, and Dreah.People with questions are urged to contact queonda@laondafest.com.
