A national economist laid out his economic outlook for the Valley for 2026 during the ULI Trends Day conference in Phoenix Feb. 20.
John Chang, senior vice president and chief intelligence & analytics officer for Marcus & Millichap, says while the national economy is positive but fragile, the Phoenix-metro economy is stronger and has momentum moving into the new year.
But, he said, that doesn’t mean there isn’t uncertainty in the economy, as has been the case for a while.
