Below, we will be keeping up with all the action in Arlington via our reporters and photographers on the scene:

“Hangman” Adam Page def. Jon Moxley (c) to win AEW world championship (Texas Death Match)

The war for AEW’s soul got bloody early and stayed that way. Tables, barbed wire, broken glass, nail beds — if there was a kitchen sink under the ring, they’d have used that, too. Throw in Moxley’s Death Riders, Gabe Kidd, The Young Bucks, Will Ospreay, a returning Darby Allin and Brian Danielson, plus Swerve Strickland, and it was pure pro wrestling pandemonium.

The “Hangman” survived the chaos and choked out the champion to win another world title.

Kazuchika Okada (c) def. Kenny Omega (c) to become inaugural AEW unified champion

Add another classic to the long list of classics between these two wrestling icons. If not for constant interference from Don Callis, Omega would have called himself the first-ever unified champ. But Saturday night was for Okada.

“Timeless” Toni Storm (c) def. Mercedes Moné

It was hyped up as one of the most-anticipated matches in women’s wrestling, and the champion and challenger went full knock-down, drag-out mode in the fight for the top prize of their division. Both Storm and Moné had the crowd gripped to every move until the “Timeless” one stood tall.

The Hurt Syndicate (c) def. JetSpeed and The Patriarchy

What started as a title retention for The Hurt Syndicate quickly turned into one of the night’s most memorable moments. After the match, Nick Wayne of The Patriarchy turned on his “father” Christian. Under assault by his former faction and FTR, who was on commentary for the match, the all too familiar to wrestling fans “You think you know me” blasted through the speakers and blew the roof off Globe Life Field as Adam Copeland returned to make the save for his former friend.

Women’s Casino Gauntlet

Athena, the “forever ROH world champion,” claimed another huge win this weekend in the women’s casino gauntlet match. The Garland native is now the No. 1 contender for the AEW women’s championship.

Surprise entrants: Syuri, Alex Windsor

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland def. The Young Bucks

When the lights shine the brightest, AEW has its upper class of performers to call upon. This quartet took Globe Life Field on a wild ride in a thrilling tag team match that ended up with the good guys on the winning side.

Dustin Rhodes def. Daniel Garcia, Kyle Fletcher, Sammy Guevara for the vacant TNT championship

In what may be the surprise of the night, a legendary career wrote another chapter when Dustin Rhodes — recently profiled by DMN’s own Evan Grant — claimed victory over three much younger opponents, including his own tag team partner in Ring of Honor, Sammy Guevara.

– Prior to the match, Adam Cole came to the ring to relinquish his TNT championship, giving the Globe Life Field crowd an emotional address about an undisclosed medical issue that could potentially lead to his retirement.

Men’s Casino Gauntlet

After entering at No. 2, Maxwell Jacob Friedman went start to finish to win the gauntlet and the No. 1 contender spot for the AEW world title.

Surprise returns: Juice Robinson, The Gunns.

The Opps (c) def. Death Riders and Gabe Kidd

The show opened with an impressive display from The Opps (Samoa Joe, Hobbs, Shibata), as they retained their titles over the Death Riders. However, a post-match attack by the Death Riders left Samoa Joe laying in the middle of the ring with a chair wrapped around his head.

With the help of an “Iron Claw” from the Texas wrestling legend and an appearance from Wyatt and Wayne Rhodes, the Sons of Texas picked up the win.

“Big Boom!” A.J. and The Conglomeration def. Don Callis Family

The Costco Guys get the job done with the help of their friends. Even the young lad, Big Justice, took a bump. Shame on you Trent Beretta.

FTR def. The Outrunners

The Outrunners were very over with the Arlington crowd, but FTR resorted to their nefarious ways to seal the win, closing out the preshow.
