A crash involving a police vehicle sent three people, including two Phoenix police officers, to the hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.
Around 5:30 p.m. on July 11, a woman attempted a U-turn on a bridge over the Salt River along 19th Avenue between Lower Buckeye and Broadway roads, colliding with a police vehicle, according to Phoenix police. The woman and both officers were hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the officers were expected to be released later that evening, while the woman remained under medical care.
