PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Drivers will see some delays on three Phoenix-area freeways this weekend as the Arizona Department of Transportation continues its construction projects.
On the Loop 202, eastbound lanes between Lindsay Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday for paving as part of a widening project.
Eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at McQueen, Cooper and Gilbert roads will also be closed.
Drivers will also see some delays on the Loop 101 where the ramp to southbound State Route 51 in northeast Phoenix will be closed from 5 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday (March 1) for final lane striping as part of a ramp widening project.
The Eastbound Loop 101 will also be narrowed to three lanes (right lanes closed) between Cave Creek Road and SR 51.
Closures on the Loop 101:
- Westbound Loop 101 primary ramp to southbound SR 51
- Eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Cave Creek Road
- Southbound Black Mountain Boulevard ramp to southbound SR 51

Staying on the Loop 101, the off-ramps at 75th Avenue in the northwest Valley will be closed from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 28) for a widening project. Also, 75th Avenue will be closed in both directions near the Loop 101.
Drivers who normally use 75th Avenue near Loop 101 can consider alternate routes, including 67th Avenue or 83rd Avenue.
