SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:15 am near Vance Jackson Road and Wurzbach Road.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the man was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was apparently hit by a vehicle traveling northbound.
The driver, who reportedly showed no signs of intoxication, stayed at the scene and attempted to render aid. The victim was taken to a local hospital and later listed in stable condition.
Police say no criminal charges are expected at this time.
