Six people were hurt Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles, including at least one pedestrian.
The crash was reported at 6:09 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Echo Park Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
A 55-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were in “at least” serious condition, Lantz said. A 50-year-old man, 43-year-old woman and boys ages 3 and 9 were all in fair condition. All were taken to hospitals by ambulance.
There has been some initial confusion about whether a vehicle struck one or two pedestrians or two vehicles collided, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Kevin Terzes told City News Service.
