Step outside the box—literally. A newly built glass house by West Hollywood–based firm Tag Front Architects rises in Los Angeles’s ultra-exclusive Bird Streets, defined by its striking transparency and modern design. Its bold, sculptural form makes it one of the most unique residences in the celeb-dense hillsides neighborhood above the Sunset Strip, where stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves have long resided.
Dubbed the Curve on Thrush, the over 4,500-square-foot house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms was completed last year. “It is a statement piece,” press materials claim, while also emphasizing that it “stands as a bold expression of art, architecture, and lifestyle at the highest level.” Co-listing agents Oliver Thornton of Hollywood Estates and Kristofer Everett-Einarsson of Carolwood Estates hold the keys to the $8.88 million spread.

The steel structure is prominent throughout the home, starting in the foyer, where a floating staircase leads up to the bedroom level. In the primary suite, wood plank flooring pops against black window frames, while gray stone flooring in the bathroom elevates a freestanding tub and Calacatta marble shower. A walk-in closet offers ample hanging and shelf space.

The Curve’s main living areas sprawl out via the open blueprint on the floor above. Its massive living room provides two lounge areas beneath a soaring ceiling. A wall ideal for hanging artwork separates the room from the dining and kitchen areas, where a wood-paneled island with a veined stone counter anchors the latter. Elsewhere there’s a home office, a private theater, and an elevator.
A backyard patio carved into the hillside is framed by drought-tolerant landscaping, while the swimming pool and spa follow the smooth curve of the home.
