The Priest Holmes Foundation teamed up with Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries to support to those affected by the floods.

Two semi-trucks full of food stuffs and other goods arrived in the Kerrville-area on Saturday and were distributed.

Priest is the former Kansas City Chiefs All Pro Running Back who’s always called the San Antonio-area home, but this tragedy touched his heart even further when the owners of his former team, the Hunt Family, lost a loved one in the flooding.

Priest also received help from his friends on this relief project, including another San Antonio-area man, Jarveon Williams, who works with the NFL Players Association. And more!

Priest was also joined by 16-year NFL veteran Henry Ellard and other footballers, including David Vela and Dave Worsham. Agnes Hubbard and Debi Watson from Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries also chatted with Maximum Sports, and also Bernadette Holcon from City Hills Church.

Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries gets and they give! A great place to start if you’d like to be a part of the relief efforts OR if you need help yourself.

They update their web site daily to relay to the public the things they need that are in short supply.

They offer plenty of other services too, as you’ll see on their website.
