At just 28, WNBA star A’ja Wilson has already achieved what most only imagine: two Olympic golds, her own signature shoe and apparel line, and even a statue at her alma mater. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft, Wilson continues to dominate the court as the commanding center for the Las Vegas Aces. Her focus remains firmly on basketball, even as she has found love with fellow Olympian and NBA star Bam Adebayo. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, the two didn’t just bring home gold medals, they found each other too.
Who is A’ja Wilson dating?
A’ja Wilson is currently in a relationship with Miami Heat power forward Bam Adebayo. Standing at 6 feet 9 inches, Adebayo is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, just like Wilson. Drafted 14th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, he has been a center and power forward for the Miami Heat ever since, earning three NBA All-Star selections and helping lead the franchise to the NBA Finals twice.Interestingly, Bam’s name comes from The Flintstones character Bamm-Bamm Rubble, after his mom noticed him flipping over a table as a toddler, much like the cartoon character.

Bam Adebayo isn’t just A’ja Wilson’s partner, he’s also one of her biggest supporters. He proudly wore pink sneakers from her shoe line during an NBA game, helping promote her brand on one of the biggest stages in basketball. Speaking to People about his gesture, Wilson said, “He really wanted to be at the forefront of pushing my shoes. If I have to put it out in the NBA, why not have someone like Bam Adebayo, who’s just a good person all around, to kind of showcase my shoes? I was thankful he was able to wear it.”
