A man was shot just after midnight Monday in southeast Dallas and later died at a hospital, police said.
Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Pemberton Hill Road at about 12:10 a.m., Dallas police said in a news release Monday.
The man was taken by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a hospital where he died. His name was not released pending notification of family.
After investigating, officers determined the man had been shot by an unknown person, police said.
