BUMBLE BEE, AZ (AZFamily) — A rollover crash on Interstate 17 north of the Valley sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Just after 12:30 p.m., DPS said three people were ejected in the one-car crash on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Bumble Bee Road, about seven miles north of Black Canyon City.

Troopers said two of those people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but details on the third person weren’t released.
Northbound lanes were blocked for about two hours but ADOT’s “flex lanes,“ a reversible stretch of roadway that can be opened to ease traffic in either direction, were activated to provide a detour.
All lanes reopened around 3:05 p.m, DPS confirmed.
No other information about the wreck has been released.
